This valuable Art Deco desk was produced in the 1940s, in Cantù (village in the north of Italy) for the famous exposition ‘Permanente mobili cantù’ and is most likely based on a design by Paolo Buffa.
The desk has a black lacquered structure with maple details while the elegant inlay on the central drawer is in walnut.
Handles and keys are in brass and the top is in gold glass.
Completely restored.
