This elegant Art Deco dresser was produced in Italy, more precisely in Cantù, which is a small city in the north of Italy that used to be famous in the Art Deco era for wood crafting and furniture making. It was produced in the 1940s, most likely based on a design by Paolo Buffa.
The four drawers are in precious parchment, the top is in black glass, while the legs and the profile are black lacquered. Handles, keys, keyholes and tips are in brass.
The interiors of the four drawers are wide, capacious and really elegant as they are in precious wood.
This dresser, has been finely restored in our laboratories using a conservative restoration. So it is in perfect conditions and it maintains its original and unique historical beauty.
