This Art Deco sideboard was produced in Italy in the 1940s. It was probably designed and produced by Paolo Borsani, in Lissone (north of Italy, near Milan) and it was later labeled and sold by ‘Cirimbilla Mobili’ in Rome.
It is completely black lacquered, with a maple profile of the top and a brass profile of the base. The top is a black glass, the keyholes and the keys are in brass.
On the inside of one of the doors there is a label ‘Cirimbilla Mobili Rome’.
